About Us
God made man to participate, through our union with Jesus Christ, in the life and love of the Most Blessed Trinity. Each person is destined, from the beginning, as known and intended by God, to become “another Christ” by grace and a living member of the full Body of Christ. This truth is the starting point for PrebornChrist.com, the official website of Bearers of the Preborn Christ.
This otherwise unattainable calling invites each of us to surrender our bodies, spirits, and lives to Jesus Christ, who is the Head, while we, the Church, are His Body. Together, by grace, we are called to be the ongoing manifestation of the Body of Christ in the world. PrebornChrist.com exists to illuminate both the plan and the path each of us is called to walk with Jesus, so that we may claim victory for ourselves and our neighbors.
PrebornChrist.com is dedicated to revealing the consistency and compatibility of faith and reason, religion and science, wherein the material world discloses the spiritual truth of being itself. At the heart of this work is an understanding of spirituality as an articulated relationship one has with Jesus, our Lord. Certain aspects of this spirituality are emphasized more than others, as they define this relationship and serve as the stones forming the pathway toward becoming a true bearer of the Preborn Christ.
Spirituality: The Interior Path
- Preborn Christ: Drawing from the devotional traditions of the saints, the mystery of conceiving and bearing Christ, and the call to surrender one’s life to Him, this path explores the interior foundations of becoming a bearer of the Preborn Christ.
Faith: The Formative Path
-
Portfolio of Concepts and Actions: Seekers, parents, religious educators, and adults new to classical philosophy will find foundational concepts and concrete practices for the home and classroom that nurture the life of Christ in youth and adults of all ages, while providing a sound basis for the harmony of faith and reason.
Culture: The Lived Path
-
Moral Life: Direction and support for living a life of moral integrity in a culture that often challenges and seeks to undermine it, with a primary focus on dating and relationships ordered toward marriage, while recognizing that not every such relationship culminates in marriage.
